Nature Trekker Singapore

A place specially dedicated to all nature lovers & adventure seekers to share & explore.

Nature Trekker Singapore was established with a mission to cultivate outdoor adventure lovers to learn & appreciate nature, thereby giving our beautiful yet fragile environment the due respect it deserves. Hence, that simple guiding principles has it's mission carved onto a name itself.

The term "Nature" precedes "Trekker" in our establishment signifies the greater importance of appreciating nature in the group's main objective while the latter represents the adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts who are nature- lovers.

Established in the year 2000 as a non- profit nature organisation manage by volunteers. Nature Trekker Singapore has organised numerous outdoor, both local & overseas, with activities spanning from outdoor trekking to nature appreciation (eg. bird watching session, plant walks, nature photography trips, etc). Our membership-base has grown rapidly, hitting a record of over 2,968 members since June 2009. More are expected to join us, due in part to kind referrals from existing members who've in one way or other, enjoyed our group's events & activities.

All the wonderful adventure & nature trips are made possible because of a team of dedicated & experienced volunteer outdoor trainers/guides who, unified by their love for nature, volunteered their personal time & commitment to this unique non-profit / volunteer organisation.

Nature Trekker Singapore will continue to strive towards it's mission & welcomes those with the little "adventure seeker" in you or even the pure nature lovers to come aboard & sign up with this big family that is ready to bring you to more exciting & fascinating trips.

Membership acceptance will be decided by a Committee & it may take up to 2 months' deliberation (subject to min. of 4 trips attendance within 6 months period). Membership acceptance is not automatic but subject to approval by the Committee.

Only full member will be given priority in trip booking, trip reservation and getting first hand news on all the interesting activities organised by us.

* Successful applicant who have completed the 12 questionaires will receive a congratulatory message from John of "Nature Trekker Singapore" via email.

Please print out your email acceptance letter & keep a copy as you may be required to show proof of your membership in some of the trips.

Please be rest assured that all informations submitted to our group's database will be kept strictly confidential & we do not contact members' office or home telephone unnecessarily unless it is critical or in emergency situation. eg. last minute trip cancellation or change of venue or appt. time, etc
