I, ME & MYSELF


Alright, starting with I...    I'm Mabel Chan, a Singapore-borned Chinese.   I graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) and has been conferred "Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honors)" in 1999.   During my tertiary education, I majored in Economics and Psychology.  I went through a Honors year program, focusing on Economics.   My thesis "Competition, Trade and Government Policies" can be obtained in the Central Library of NUS.   I believe it is more probably that the book is just sitting there, in a corner, rotting away.  :)  



I'm married to an American.   We stay both in Singapore and in USA, California.   We both travel between Singapore and US for business and leisure.   I love California, especially Berkeley.   I adore the cuisines (Mexican, Midddle East, Vietnamese, Black BBQ, Nation's Burger, Top Dog, etc. etc.)  that I can find in California.   My MOST favourite diners are Christopher's (along San Pablo Avenue, Albany) and Mediteraean Place (in Mission district, 16th Street, San Francisco).    Its my tradition to go to these two places whenever I'm over in Berkeley.   Or when I need a cheering up, once in a while.  



I'm the new-age entrepreneur.   I started a Software Company, Global Village (Singapore), with my husband.   We specialise on game development, game conversion (PC to Consoles), IT solution, E-commerce, web-designing, graphic designing, etc.   At the very same time, I have been planing my own business in animal's feed and accessories.    Within the next 6 months, my business will start both in a physical location and internet arena.    For the time being, I'll not be revealing too much about it...  till a later date.
