| While at IDEO
in London, I was part of the team that created the Biometric Exhibit
for the new Wellcome Wing at the Science
Museum. The exhibit consists of a set of 4 interactive pieces which
demonstrate various different types of biometric identification
technologies, such as fingerprint scanning and facial identification.
Working
together with another designer, Sarah Morris, I designed the
interaction and gameplay for the exhibit. I also implemented
the pieces in
Director, and carried out the final on-site installation and
testing.
For this project
the challenge was to create an experience which was both educational
and engaging. The implementation involved interfacing Director
with various external devices, such as cameras, fingerprint scanners,
switches and lights. |
