STAY AWAY FROM THAT BOOK UNLESS YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO FAIL OR SOMETHING. YES AND NOW I'LL NEED TO GET MY FREAKIN ASS BACK TO THAT ANG MO KIO PLACE TO BOOK ANOTHER DATE.. [27th December 2.45am]: just bought my graphics card today. some geforce 64mb thing. heh dunno anything bout graphics card, the guy at the shop chose it for me. yay i can finally play my warcraft 3. played it non stop from 8.30pm till now. n together with the new sound card i bought with my prodikeys, its like playing in some LAN shop. yeahh good pictures n good sound. perfect for gaming. hehe. forget bout fireworks n dreamweaver, no mood to learn it anymore. k my eyes are really tired n teary now, shall give it a rest..
[26th December 3.19am]: heyy merry christmas!! hehe. i sent out my cards on the 23rd, n fiona sent my a msg last nite saying she got my card already. what efficient postmen we have.. its xmas eve n they're not slacking! amazing. oh sorry to those who were at jiahao's house the other nite. forgot to bring the cards.. was in a hurry to leave home u see.. yahh. thanks chris for ur xmas gift imported all the way from the wonderful land of china, and also for my first ever 2 page full christmas card that was filled with touching words. haha. will miss u n ur spectacular goals when u'r enlisted in jan. thanks to everyone else who bothered to write me cards too. jh's house was.. hmm.. ok-fun. jh n i were on irc posing as girls flirting with guys on #cybersex.. while waiting for the rest to come. haha.. we asked the guys for their numbers.. n then gave it to other guys to call us. yeah.. childish.. but wat do u expect when 2 marists get together? hehe. we had lots n lots of stuff to eat for dinner.. from turkey to potato salad. all prepared by yiwei.. with some help from crystal. haha he's like the best cook around. but poor derek didnt eat much cos he was still suffering from a stomach upset since zouk, and he simply refuses to see a doc. got kaiwen quite worried. watched dark waters at like 4am when the tottenham-mancity match got real boring. wasnt as scary as wat jh described. then we had our monopoly marathon from 7 to 10am. the richest person at 10 would be the ultimate winner and everyone in the game got to give him $2. heh quite fun, but would have been better had i won. chris won in the end i think. hmm i've got nothing planned the next couple of weeks. thinking of calling up some youth centre or something to ask if they need volunteers for tutors. those temporary jobs out there are paying so little, might as well do something meaningful. anyone interested in joining me? hehe. i bought the complete macromedia mx studio the other day in amk central. trying to learn dreamweaver n fireworks now. too much spare time u see. heh. hopefully i can learn how to do a better layout and change this boring one i created using ms frontpage 98 when i was in sec 4 or something. [22nd December 1.29pm]: 3 more days to christmas and i'm still not done with my cards!! arghhh [19th December 11.51pm]: some soccer updates.. liverpool's interested in signing overmars and kluivert!! its official. and barcelona wants riise in exchange though houllier's unwilling to let him go. liverpool are prepared to pay big money for them.. wonder where the money comes from since they were knocked out of the lucrative champions league in the first round. yep. and in a recent interview with arsenal's robert pires, he claims everton are "more of a threat" for the premier league title than liverpool. what crap. cant believe thats coming from the mouth of one of the players i admire most. hmm walked around cityhall area today with yiwei n darren. bumped into chris n qinlei. confirmed the birthday treat tomorrow. sigh.. what a time to treat the rest, when i'm the most broke. luckily its also shared among chris and darren. will be eating at PS's swensens. hope its still there.. cos PS is under some major renovation and many shops have changed. yahh.. even nike is gone. ok back to the bday treat.. many of my class guys and their girlfriends, and class girls will be going i tink. wendy lixuan brenda fiona joanna jessica(?), derek yiwei kenny(?) jiahao, kaiwen qinlei(?) crystal(?) fanny(?). wow that means a possible 17 ppl might come. too many isnt good.. i'm on a tight budget. heh. and swensens is not cheap u noe. will be going zouk after that to parrrtttyyyyyy.. oh and i printed ljungberg's name on my sweden jersey at peninsula today! realised i didn't know his no. for sweden. only know he's 8 for arsenal, hopefully the guy at peninsula got it right by printing no. 9. [18th December 11.26pm]: fwah i'm like super sunburnt now after soccer this morning. played from around 1130 all the way till 2+ in the afternoon. hehz we were supposed to meet in maris stella at 10.. but i woke up at 11.. took a cab there.. n found out they only just started playing. tsk tsk.. nobody believes in punctuality these days. went bugis with jinsheng after soccer cos he needed to buy stuff for his girl friends.. heh that buaya. went sim lim after that, bought a network card for my dad so that he can share the cable modem on his laptop. wanted to get a graphics card for my com but there're like a million types n i have no idea what my motherboard supports. gotta check my com's specs first. yesterday's basic theory was bad!! argh don't ever buy the book written by L.K. Choy and published by Seng Yew Book Store! the whole book contains only road signs and don't teach you like how much alcohol is allowed in your blood and stuff like that. had to guess through all those questions [bout 10 of them]. yep.. hmm went funan centre after the test.. and guess what i bought?! creative's prodikeys! heh i alwaes wanted to get a keyboard but i can't play for nuts. saw the creative ppl demonstrate this gadget at some roadshow the other time n it seemed quite impressive and easy to learn. hopefully i'll become really good at playing this thing and then i'll go get a real keyboard. hehe. i'll be writing my christmas cards soon. havent got a proper list of recipients yet, so if u wan a card from me, drop me an email or something =) [16th December 4.25am]: heyy i'm back! reached home late last nite. hmm malaysia was quite ok.. shopped quite a lot, bought a couple of pirated dvds n some clothes. the clothes there were not much cheaper than those in singapore though, in fact some costed more, especially the branded ones. genting was fun. took most of the roller coaster rides until it started raining. played the indoor rides after that. i was so looking forward to playing the go-kart, but the queue was so friggin long and the karts were so darn slow! it used to be faster, and those below 16 werent allowed, but they lifted the age requirement and somehow tweaked the engines to make them slower. didn't bother queueing, preferred the speedier and more thrilling roller coaster rides. the hotel wasnt too bad, but their breakfast kinda sucked. their scrambled eggs tasted like.. like.. err i've nvr tasted anything like that. the rooms and beds were nice, but they didnt have ESPN!!!!! arghh. only starsports, cnn and the m'sian channels. the coach we took to n fro were nice n comfy. the seats were spacious n there was ample leg room. recline the seat and adjust the footrest, and you'll have no problems falling asleep. they really should model the seats on a plane's economy class after it. need to get some sleep now, gotta get up early to meet yiwei n the rest of the guys tmrw. [8th December 11.10pm]: argh!!!! my mum just told me grandma's not feeling well and won't be able to make it for the trip to kl, which means i'll have to take her place since they already paid for the tic. sigh. will be leaving on wed.. for 4 days. both my parents, n most of my maternal aunts n uncles n cousins will be going.. which means its most probably gonna be quite sian. will be bringing my library books over to keep me entertained. oh yah and i'll need to have my passport extended tomorrow, before i meet my class at wtc to go sentosa, and then rush back to town again hopefully before the ac prom starts... [7th December 7.05pm]: just came home from the library. havent been to one in a long time. wasnt sure if bags were allowed inside, so i spent 20¢ to put mine in the locker, just in case. yah it turned out that everyone inside had their bags with them 'cept me. oh well at least i learnt something new. reached at around 4+, didnt know the library closes at 5.30. they didnt have the ulrika jonsson's biography i wanted, neither did they have stuart pearce's. borrowed ian rush's biography and a book on digital photography in the end. had absolutely no idea how many books one can borrow, didnt dare to take too many to save myself the embarrassment at the check out counter. oh today also marks the 1st time i bought Strike! legally. haha. $5 on an arsenal win and $5 on a liverpool win. was waiting for the auntie at the counter to ask for my ic so i can proudly show her i'm already 18, but she didnt even bother. woohoo.. finally, i look matured enough. time for dinner... [6th December 5.10pm]: okies since jo wanted to meet later n i had nothing to do this afternoon.. decided to upload some of the photos from prom. have fun bio-ing the hunks n babes.. heh. k i gotta run.. room's infested with mosquitoes. [5th December 11.59pm]: feeling damn tired n burnt after playing playing soccer in the freakishly hot weather this morning. i'm like red all over now.. except for the parts where my clothes n socks were. wanted to upload some photos from grad but they're all like at least 1mb each.. n i'm too lazy to resize them to a smaller resolution. maybe some other time. hehe. [4th December 10.30am]: wow prom was great! took many many photos with my new dig cam, both with friends and strangers.. haha. will be uploading some of them soon. meanwhile i need to get some sleep.. only slept for bout an hour in the last 26 hours.. |
